DAIRYMEN’S ASSOCIATION
TO TBI IDITOB Of TBB PEIS*. Sir,—Could you inform me when the dairymen of Christchurch intend having an annual meeting or if the executive of the Dairymen’s Association ever intends to approach the Government with the popular idea of taking steps to eliminate overhead costs and endeavour to obtain a better working price for the struggling dairy farmer. — Yours, etc., BELFAST. June 14, 1936. [Mr S. G. Farquhar, chairman of the Christchurch Dairymen’s Association, said yesterday that the executive of the association had been meeting frequently, and was at present working on a scheme in co-operation with the Christchurch City Council. The annual meeting was being held over until there was something definite to report.]
