CELEBRATING CHAMBERLAIN CENTENARY

The Duke of Bedford, the Duke of Buccleuch,. the Duke of Portland, the Duke of Sutherland, and the Duke of Westminster, and Lord Londonderry, Lord Bledisloe, and Lord Hirst are associated with an appeal to celeb: ate the centenary of the birth of the Rt. Hon. Joseph Chamberlain. which occurs on July 8. A meeting at the Albert Hall will inaugurate a memorial fund to enable a sustained campaign to be carried out throughout Britain, in support of Imperial ideas, and the means of increasing the Empire’s co-operation in trade, migration, defence, and foreign policy. For this purpose the organisers are seeking the co-operation of the leaders of industry and agriculture at Home and overseas, as all realise that Imperial strength and unity are essential.
