SUCCESSFUL SEASON AT THEATRE ROYAL “Long Tack Sam,” the world-famous illusionist, with his team of marvels, presents a brilliant show at the Theatre Royal. “Long Tack Sam” has returned from his world tour with a team whose feats have never been equalled in vaudeville. So much entertainment is given that imitation would be prohibitively costly. The gymnasts who swing dangerously long looking knives and pronged forks, balance each' other on bamboo poles, and twirl round on horizonal bars, are specially selected Chinese. All who remembered this boisterous entertainment when it was presented in Christchurch nearly 12 years ago, will find the present company even more exciting and entertaining. The Chinese are supported by seven European vaudeville acts. There wul be a matinee to-day at 250. '
