AMBERLEY CLUB The sealed hole match played among ■women members of the. Amberley Golf Club was won by Mrs S. Griffiths. The best cards in the second round of the Melbourne Cup. played among men members, were;—R. Skinner 97, 26—71; R. O’Laughlin 86,- 14—72; R. Tod Beveridge 82. 9—73; I. G. Grierson 87, 14—73. The match with the Cheviot Club resulted in a win for Cheviot. GREENDALE CLUB A stroke handicap was held for the club trophies, Mrs C. A. Ridgen winning the women’s prize and W. I. Gillanders the men’s. The following were the best cards: — Men: I. Gillanders 54. 10—44; H. B. Shipley 60, 10—50; C. A. Ridgen 69, 15—54; W. Dean 66, 10—56; A. Shipley 84, 15—69. Women: Mrs C. A. HAGLEY LADIES* CLUB
The Ladies’ Golf Union medal match was won by Miss Mavis Saunders in the silver medal division, and by Miss Kathleen Talbot in the bronze medal division., Results: — Silver Medal Division—Miss M.
