FIRM’S DESIRE TO ENTER INTO TRUSTEE BUSINESS (PB*SS ASSOCIATION T«L»O*AM.) WELLINGTON, June 16. The firm of Levin and Company, Ltd., desirous of extending its functions so that it may act as trustee and receive remuneration for its services, applied to the Court of Appeal to-day for confirmation of certain resolutions extending and altering the objects of the company as set forth in its memorandum of association. , The original application was heard on June 9, 1936, by Mr Justice Smith, who ordered its removal into the Court of Appeal for further consideratl(Should the application be granted, the company will be in the position Of an individual trustee, but not of an executor or administrator, and full security would be afforded to interested persons against any act of negligence or breach of trust by the company or its officers whenever the company is acting as trustee. The Court of Appeal reserved its decision. '
