NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW AWARDS
■ j ♦ ■■■ '* JUDGES PRAISE BUTTER EXHIBITS SOUTH ISLAND SUCCESSES (PBKSS ASSOCIATION TEUEQBAX.) PALMERSTON NORTH, June 16. The awards of the judges of butter and cheese at the National Dairy Show were announced to-day. “It is considered that the standard and quality of the creamery butter exhibits show an improvement,” commented the judges of the butter classes. “There is also a commendable uniformity of manufacture worthy of special mention. The exhibits under review were taken at random from grading stores fipm February. Practically all were classified as finest grade. Owing to the very small margin of merit separating the exhibits in the finals of the various classes difficulty was experienced in selecting the winners and runners-up, and all deserve congratulations.”
