SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS TO-NIGHT
Householders who failed to elect school committees on the date previously arranged for the election will meet at 7.30 to-night. Nominations will be accepted in writing by the chairman, or made verbally at the meeting. The schools for which committees are still required, and in whose districts meetings will be held, are Ashley, Bromley, Brookside, Courtenay, Doyleston, Halkett, Harewood, Killinchy, Okuku, Ouruhia, Robinson’s Bay, Rolleston, Springfield. Summerhill, West Spreydon, and Yaldhurst.
As West Spreydon had an attendance at the end of last December of more than 240, written nominations are required in accordance with the act,
