Eventually his license was taken away, but on pleading that it was neccsary for his work he had it restored on condition that a governor was installed on the engine. All would-be motorists in Turkey must now have their blood analysed before they are granted a driving license, as part of the new comprehensive medical examination for all drivers, which includes also eyesight, hearing, and nerve reflexes investigation.
