STILL DISORDERS IN PALESTINE
TANKS PATROL NEAR RAILWAYS ARAB ATTACK REPELLED (Received June 12, 7.5 p.m.) JERUSALEM, June 11. Because of the continuance of disorders, including derailments, tanks are natrolling areas near the railways Aeroplanes illuminated the scene by rockets while troops machinegunned and repulsed Arabs attacking settlements on the plain of JeyrCThe Roman Catholic Arabs have appealed to the Pope for mediation in the present disturbances. Telegraph and telephone wires have been cut in all directions. The damage is estimated at £ 10,000.
