HOPE FOR SURGEON’S LIFE
MESSAGE RECEIVED BY FATHER HASTINGS, June 10. The surgeon, Mr Henry Philbrick Nelson, who was referred to in a cable menage yesterday as having QM an arm amputated following on •eswcaemia resulting from a prick in a finger while performing an operation, is the second son of Mr Kelson, of Havelock North. been to Napier, where he received his early education. Later he bad a distinguished scholastic career, subsequently attaining eminence to hfs profession. The latest advice received by Mr Kelson Is that there is reason to hope that his son’s life will be saved.
