SNOW SPORTS AT MOUNT COOK
RETURN OF MR BARRY CAULFEILD
The prediction that snow sports would appeal to an ever-increasing number of New Zealanders is being fulfilled emphatically. The season has opened well at Mount Cook, and the tally of visitors promises to exceed the high figures of previous years. The distinguished ski expert, Mr Barry Caulfeild, is again to be in charge of the Mount Cook Ski School. When he was here two years ago he gave a pleasant surprise to many folk, including elderly men and women, by his quickness in training them to enjoy safely the speedy glides on ski. Complete arrangements nave been made to assure good sport throughout the season, in addition to the programmes of championship meetings. Details are advertised in this issue.
