QUITE FRIENDLY
The Acclimatisation Society set free a number of pheasants on the hills in our valley and two cock pheasants came right down to the back of our house. They did not run away when we watched them. They are pretty birds with their long tails. —BRUCE HAMPTON, L.8.H., Ataahua.
