POST-MORTEM ORDERED
An inquest into the death of Mrs Maude Marion Weir Grant, aged about 34, of 31 St. Andrew’s terrace, who was found lying in a gutter in Norman’s road on May 29, was opened before the coroner, Mr E. C. Lewey, on Saturday. The circumstances indicated that Mrs Grant fell and struck her head. She died in an ambulance on the way to the Public Hospital. After evidence of identification had been given, the inquest was adjourned sine die. The coroner ordered a postmortem examination.
