WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
LINCOLN Mrs W. Templeton presided over a good attendance at the May meeting of the Lincoln Women’s Institute. Miss I. Woods and Mrs Cleeve were hostesses. The roll call was "Women who have made history.” The institute agreed to help the Red Cross Society with sewing and knitting, both of which were distributed. Mrs Moreland and Mrs Gordon Peryman were appointed group delegates. Miss Bell, of the D.1.C., gave an interesting demonstration on the making of paper flowers and sylk-art work. The competitions were as follows: —An article made from cardboard, Mrs G. Greaves 1, Mrs Hartley 2, Mrs Jordon 3; a vase of chrysanthemums, Miss I. Woods 1, Mrs Medlin 2, and Mrs Templeton 3,
