NAVY LEAGUE SEA CADETS
EASTER CAMP The Navy League Sea Cadets held their Easter camp at Ripa Island. During the four days boat practice was carried out in the two Whalers belonging to the corps, and the boys showed considerable proficiency in handling their boats. • Signal exercises were done by day and night. Constant communication was kept up with the whalers by semaphore and by Morse flashing at night. Naval routine and discipline were observed and the general efficiency of the corps was increased by the camp. . , Twenty-eight naval ratings attended. Sea' Cadet Lieutenant E. S. A, Collins was in charge, and with him were Sea Cadet Lieutenants S. C. Peddie, H. Farr, and Sub-Lieutenant J. Conner.
