Signor Mussolini presented medals o the parents and widows of airnen who had been killed in Abysinia. The Under-Secretary for Air, Genial Valle, speaking later in the senate. said that the display was lesigned to prove to foreign miliary observers that the Italian rentiers were well guarded, even a the sky. Italy would shortly ossess 10.000 pilots. A scheme was being perfected by ,'hich one-fifth of the Italian war eroplaues would be renewed anually, as it was estimated * that heir useful life was limited to five ears.
