There was a good attendance oi members at the annual meeting of the Canterbury College Women's Hockey Club in the Students' Association building last evening. Miss N. Wagner presided. ' • ' The 1933 report and balance-sheet were adopted. A slight financial loss was shown, but membership had increased considerably. The year had been very successful, the club's team, defeating the other New Zealand universities' teams, and winning the New Zealand University challenge stick, Five members won; New Zealand university "blues," and one,member gained a place in the New Zealand team which toured Australia, Members decided to hold theirofn;ial opening for the season on April Lin North Hagley Park. v It was resolved tnat an endeavour ae made to arrange a practice with a team from the Pukaki Club. , Officers elected for the current season were:—President, Miss E. Tosswill; Mesdames C. E. Fotferaker, M. C. Hendrie, R. S. Allan, &. I. Cottrell, Misses A. M. F. Candy, D. Maginness, M. Trounce, E. Goodlohn, H Barnett; captain, Miss N. Wagler; honorary secretary, Miss M. Knight; honorary treasurer, Miss C. Handisides; committee members, Misses M. Billens, E. Ockenden, M. Smith; delegates, Misses N. Wagner md M. Knight.
