OLDEST CHURCH IN THE DOMINION.—The centenary of Christ ChuYch at Russell was celebrated on Sunday, when Archbishop Averill conducted a service, which was attended by 500 people. It was in this church that Captain Hobson, in January, 1840, proclaimed his appointment as Lieutenant-Governor.
