EARTHQUAKE SHOCK
_—♦ (PBESS AS3OCIATIOM TMJtOBAK.) REEFTON, March 7. A sharp shock of earthquake was felt at Reefton last night at 8 o*ei?ck. No damage was done. The movement was an upthrust and one of short duration. A small shock was-recorded; jiwt before three minutes past eight, at tne Christchurch Magnetic Observatory on March 6. The record of the shock suggested that the from Christchurch. The movement was brief and small.
