MR ROSE NEARS END OF FLIGHT
POSSIBLE CAPE TO ENGLAND RECORD (Received March 9, 7.6 p.m.) LONDON, March 8. , A message from Cannes states that Mr Tommy Rose, who "is attempting to break the flight record from the Cape to London, arrived from Tunis and will proceed on his journey at 5.30 a.m. to-morrow. Mr' Rose, who last month set up a new record flight to the Cape, will also establish a record for the Cape to England flight if he reaches Croydjn before 4.11 p.m. tormorrow.
