HEAVY RAINS IN SYDNEY
(Received March 8, 8.3 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 8. Phenomenal rains fell over the metropolitan area on Saturday, accompanied by severe, but temporary, flooding, with appreciable damage to property. The Canterbury Park races ana tennis fixtures were postponed.
