FLOUR MILLING COMPANY AT WAIMATE
(SPECIAL TO THE PEESS.I WMMATE. March 8. The directors of the South Canterbury Co-operative Fleur Milling Company have been empowered by the shareholders to dispose of the assets of the firm. At a special general meeting the following resolution was passed: “That the directors be empowered to sell, dispose of, or transfer, the business property and undertaking of the company or any part thereof for such consideration and upon such terms and conditions as the directors may see fit to accept." This action is a result of the stabilised price scheme in the wheat industry recently announced by the Government.
