' ■ Dr. W. T. Glasgow presided at the monthly meeting of the New Brighton Public Library, There were also present Mrs F. J. Bromley, Miss G. Arnott, Messrs C. V, Lester, H. P. Hopkins, C. Gudge, F. J. Bromley, and L. K. Scott (secretary). The monthly report showed o that during February subscriptions amounted to £l3 Is 2d. an increase of £3 11s 2d, compared with February, 1935. Subscriptions to date showed an increase of £57 18s Id, compared with, the same period last year. Nineteen hew subscribers had joined during, Febru- . ary, and 32 new books were purchased during the month. V
