MORE SABOTAGE REPORTED
DAMAGE TO APPARATUS ON DESTROYER ADMIRALTY WILL MAKE NO STATEMENT (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.) (Received February 25, 9.56 p.m.) LONDON, February 24. The “Daily Mail” reports further sabotage at Chatham, where the mine-releasing apparatus aboard the destroyer Velox was put out of gear. Scotland Yard officers severely questioned workmen engaged on the refitting of the ship. The Admiralty refuses to make a statement. [On February 16 it was reported that the Admiralty had admitted cases ol sabotage on the cruiser Cumberland at Chatham; the cruiser’s electrical equipment had been damaged. Similar cases last year on board the destroyer Oberon and the battleship Royal Oak, were recalled.]
