MAIL AEROPLANE OVERDUE
♦ ANXIETY FOR SAFETY OF FOUR OCCUPANTS (Received February 26, 12.17 a.m.) PERTH, February 25. Anxiety is felt for the northbound mail aeroplane which left Broome at 5.45 a.m. to-day and should have reached Derby at 6.40 a.m. There are four persons aboard —the pilot, McCausland, the mechanic, Ridley, and two passengers. Another aeroplane has left on a search.
