ITALY SOUNDS A WARNING
“DANGER WILL ATTEND OIL EMBARGO” OFFICIAL STATEMENTS IN PARIS AND LONDON (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.) (Received February 26, 12.31 a.m.) LONDON, February 24. The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Mail’' says that Signor Cerutti (Italian Ambassador) visited M. Flandin (French Foreign Minister) and, according to information in diplomatic circles, warned him that considerable danger would attend the application of oil sanctions. Signor Cerutti also pointed out that Signor Grandi (Italian Ambassador in London) had similarly warned Mr R. A. Eden, adding that Italy would not consent to the safety of her armies being jeopardised by Geneva.
