TRAMWAY BOARD VACANCY
TO THE EDITOR Of THE PKF.SS. Sir,—The most interesting and important 'fact' which emerges from the letter of "Fed Up" and Mr J. K. Archer's reply thereto is the admission by the chairman of the Labour Tramway Board that the policy of the board is laid down by the Labour Representation Committee, or in other words the Trades Hall. This fact has geen so strenuously denied in the past that the present admission i.s, worthy of comment. And it is to be hoppd' that electors will remember it en March 11. Perhaps "Fed Up" will notjre how little say Mr E. J. Howard MP- will have had in the matter of filling the vacancy.—Yours, etc., ANTI-CONTROL. February 21, 1936.
