.. 4r J—CHRISTCHURCH CLUB The Chrlstchurch Model Yacht Club sailed Off the first two heats of a fourheat race for special prizes on Saturday, at Victoria Lake. The wind was a fairly strong north-easter, and 10 boats sailed. Following were the results:— • First Heat—J. Spencer'* Invader (handicap 3mlh 20sec) 1, P. Smith's Tui (handicap 4min 40sec) 2, J. Matthew's Alpha '(handicap Smin SOsec) 3, R. Reid's Gwalla .(handicap 3min SOaeC) 4, W. S. Kingston's Pateena (scr) 5. Time, 27min 40sec. Second Heat—Tui 1, Invader 2, Alpha 3, Jg. McKfenzie's Oeo (handicap 4min 30sec) 4, Gwalla 5. Time, 31min 40sec. The final heats will be sailed next Saturday, the points scored so far being Tui and Invader 13 points. Alpha 6, Gwalia 3, Oeo 2, and Pateena 1.
