Resignations of teachers were received, appointments were confirmed, and leaver of absence was granted by the Canterbury Education Board yesterday. Andrews, February 17 to February 23. To allow him to attend military camp, Mr R. Sprosen. Geraldine District High School, was granted leave of absence from March 14 to March 21. The resignations of Messrs A. C. Witty, E. J. McAdam, and L. E. Clark

from the Snowdale School Committee were received. It was stated that Mr "Witty had left the district and it was decided to ask Messrs McAdam and Clark to defer their resignations until April. The foreman's suggestion that the old school building at Eyreton West be sold was'approved.
