~ '♦ CONSIDERATE IRISH FORWARDS SADLER'S EXPERIENCES (press association telegram.) WELLINGTON, February 21. B. S. Sadler, the All Black halfback, was welcomed home by his clubmates. Responding to the toast of his health, Sadler said that the team had been treated with unbounded hospitality throughout the tour. He considered that King and Reid had been the two outstanding forwards on the,, tour. Oliver had been an inspiration to the backs. -■''■ In the- early part of the tour the backs had to bear the heat and .burden ! of the day, but towards the end the forwards were superior. Scotland was the most hospitable country they visited, and they were given a great time there. The Irish forwards possessed wonderful dash and devil. It was bad enough when three men came down the field with the ball at their toes, but when the Irish • forwards broke away eight men had to be reckoned with. When he fell on the ball at the feet of the Irish forwards they were very considerate. "Come on, now, get off that ball," one would say, and they would proceed to pull him off the ball, but they never once put in the boot. MANCHESTER LEAVES FOR NEW ZEALAND LONDON, February 20. J. E.
