SUPPORT GIVEN TO WINTER EXHIBITION (BFICIAI. TO TO PBXS3.) TIMARU, February 21. A decision to give hearty support to the winter exhibition and show project,at Timaru was made at a meeting qf. the provincial executive of'the'New" Zealand Farmers' Union today. Mr C. Ley presided. A letter was received from the Automobile Association (South Canterbury) saying that the reason for the difference in the price of petrol in Christchurch and Timaru was due to Timaru being a secondary port.
