MRS MASON BEE
Mrs Maria Mason Bee Built a home for her family. She cemented wee cells For spiders fat That she knew lived together In an old felt hat. Then to her Tiome came a cross landlord. Said he, “Madam, I’m growing extremely bored. Your rent is considerably overdue. I am sure I have been very patient with you.” . Said Mrs Maria, “I’m far too busy To bother just now with a fellow so quizzy; Here’s your hat and there’s the door, So let me see your face no more.” They started to fight, and I’m happy to say The poor harassed lady had all her own way. i Out through the window The landlord was hustled. While back to her home again Mrs Bee bustled. —JUDITH HANNA, L.8.H., Fendalton. ■ NOTE BY JUDITH This Masonbee really did build a home on my bedroom ceiling with soft grey mud which looks black before it dries. The spiders .are stored for her family to eat. It Is also true about the “landlord” attempting to enter her home. —JUDITH HANNA. L.B.H.
