Interest in the doings of Mr A. J. Villiers, master and owner of the fullrigged ship Joseph Conrad, was shown by members of the' Canterbury branch of the Navy League last night. They were in favour of'a suggestion that Mir Villiers should be invited to the city after his voyage across the Tasman. •Slothing was decided upon definitely.
