The possibility of establishing a Public Service medical benefit fund is outlined in the February number of the- Public Service Journal; It is* stated that the proposed fund would be run on lines which had already proved satisfactory in other parts-of Ira. world, and that a similar scheme"had' ! recently been begun by the New Zealand Bank Officers* Guild. < t ' Reference to the death of King George V. is made in the -forewordand a tribute is paid to his life and work in the following terrals: 'To public servants he has provided -an example possibly of the highest degree of service that has feeen recorded I>y any human being of v oux age." Apart from the news of, the. work being done in the various l - centres there-are some pages of interesting fiction.
