GARDEN PARTY

' At the home of Mrs H. D. Andrews, wife of the chancellor of the Christchurch Diocese, a garden party was hels in aid of St, Luke’s Church building fund. Miss Ada Bowker, in declaring the party open, congratulated the parishioners on the splendid result of their continued effort to reduce the building fund debt, which now stood at less than £2OO. The following were the stalls and stallholders:—Needlework, Is stall, and Christmas calendars, Mrs H. D. Andrews; 3d stall, Miss Priscilla Foster; cake stall, Mrs Weir and Mrs L. W.
