NEW WHEAT BOARD REGULATIONS

MINISTER TO BECOME CHAIRMAN (Pa«B3 ASSOCIATION TILXdaAX.) WELLINGTON, December 13. Chief among the changes provided for In the Board of Trade (Wheat) Regulations (1935-36), which were published to-day in a supplement to the Gazette, is a provision that the Minister for Industries and Commerce will be the chairman of the Wheat Purchase Board. Formerly the chairman was the secretary of the department. In the past, the board has consisted of nine members, five representatives of wheat growers, and four of flour millers. Under the new regulations, the number of the board has been left indefinite.
