QUEEN OF HEARTS
The Queen of Hearts' Club, which, as you all know, is only a very new club, had charge of the cake and sweets stall at the Penny Fair. There were four classes for competition, and the Queen of Hearts found all the entries very good indeed. There are some splendid little cooks aboard our "Press Ship," and the Queen of Hearts hopes soon to enrol many more members. Will all girls interested watch the paper for the date of the next meeting. The results of the competitions are as follows: Scones—Beryl Baggs (1), Edna Wilson (2), Nellie Forsey (3). Cakes—Elizabeth Irvine (1), I Beryl Baggs (2). Biscuits —Elizabeth Irvine (1). Sweets —Edna Wilson (1), Good Samaritan Club (2), Jean Woods and Joan Brocker (3). These prizes will be presented at the next meeting of the Queen of Hearts Club.
