ST. ALBANS METHODIST CIRCUIT

QUARTERLY MEETING HELD

The quarterly meeting of the St. Albans Methodist circuit wa3 held in the social hall at Rugby street, the Bev. W. Bowe presiding over a fair attendance. A hearty welcome was to the Rev. A. C. Lawry, who has recently taken charge of the Bryndwr £hurch. Mr Lawry suitably replied. Membership returns showed an inereawe of lour. Receipts for the quarter stood at £291 Os 6d, while expejWM amounted to £307 6s 9d, oi' which £l4 C» 4d was for home missions. The financial position was considered satisfactory. Reports from the youth departments of the circuit indicated progressive and encouraging work. Mr Barrell was appointed at a-circuit representative to the district ffitecutive. Gcnjcratulations were extended to Mr C James, conductor of the Edgeware road choir, which was recently /Xtc&mtul in the musical competitions.
