EXTRAORDINARY MEETING
OF SHAREHOLDERS
An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Christchurch Press Company, Limited, was held yesterday, Mr George Gould, chairman of directors, presiding. The following motion was carried unanimously:— 1. That the capital of the company be increased to two hundred thousand pounds (£200,000) by the creation of twenty thousand (20,000) shares of five pounds (£5) each. 2. That this meeting of shareholders of the Christchurch Press Company, Limited, confirms the agreements entered into on May 27, 1935, between the Christchurch Press Company, Limited, and Sun Newspapers, Limited; between the Christchurch Press Company, Limited, and New Zealand Newspapers, Limited; and the agreement made between New Zealand Newspapers, Limited, and Sun Newspapers, Limited, referred to in the agreement made between the Christchurch Press Company, Limited, and New Zealand Newspapers, Limited,; and authorises the directors to carry out all necessary arrangements for giving effect to these agreements.
