Mr Everett said that the board was paying at the rate of £3B a kilowatt for the supply, or 3.14 d a unit, and he thought that in view of the early settlement of the negotiations for the Cobb Valley supply, the council would relieve the board by granting a substantial reduction. The motion was seconded by Mr F. W. Greenslade and carried.
