I FURTHER SPECIAL PRIZES i AWARDED Tho annual show of tho Chrißtchurch Canary and Cago Bird Club, which waft opened on Thur.-;day evening at 158 Uigh street, wais continued ycßlordfiy, and was well attended, especially during the evening. Great interest is being shown in tho dieplay of birds, which is a very fine one, and one of tho largest ever held in New Zealand. The show will be continued to-day und tonight. Tho following are tho special awards which were ruado yesterday: CANARIES Club's challenge- cup and championship for bebt canary in tho nhow: G. \V. Duggan. BUDGERIGARS Best pair: P. Cairns.
