SUSPICIOUS FIRES IN NEW SOUTH WALES
£IO,OOO DAMAGE IN ONE CASE (Received May 6, 12.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 5. A shoe warehouse belonging to John Hunter and Sons, at Redfern, was partly gutted by fire to-day. The damage is estimated at £ 10,000. Detectives are enquiring into this and also another mysterious fire in an unoccupied house at Conqord, where there was an explosion.
