McPhail. J, K. Moloney, and E. V. Phillips returned from Wellington on Saturday morning, after attending the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union. The Rev. Rodger Tempest, who has been the representative of the parish of St. Mark's. Because of pressure of other business, Mr P. R. Harman has resigned from the position of secretary to the South Island Motor Union. A presentation of a conductor's baton was made by General Evangeline Booth to Maior H. Goffin. who conducted the Salvation Army i Bands during her stay in Wellington. A presentation, of a fountain pen and propelling pencil was made to Mr W. J. Montjoy, of Wellington, secretary to the New Zealand Coach and Motor-Body Builders' Industrial Association -of Employers, by Wellington members at the annual meeting of the association in Christchurch on Saturday.
