SHIPPING NOTES , To day will be a holiday on the walcru'ont. The only projected departures -ire the Maori and the Tecs. The lonic is to arrive at Lyttellon to-morrow from Wellington Cor final loading. The Waikouaiti is expected here on Wednesday from Timaru to discharge general cargo l'rom Sydney and a lnrge consignment of coal from Newcastle She will load for Sydney and is to sail via Bluff. The Waipiata should arrive here on Wednesday from Auckland and Wellington and is to sail for Duneclin and Bluff. She is due back, via Timaru. on May 14 to load for Auckland. The Kaimai, due here on ' r 'hursday from the south, will load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Government steamer Matai, which is now at Dunedin, is to leave there to-morrow in continuance of her voyage round the southern lighthouses. She is to leave Bluff about May 13 for West Coast sounds and bays.
