CLOTHES FOR THE UNEMPLOYED
pfllVE BY CITY POSTMEN The city postmen are once again •nxious to make the cold months of the winter a little warmer for the poor i>f Christchurch, and on Saturday afternoon, May 11, will have a clothes drive, which they hope to make even more successful than their previous efforts. They ask for the generous cooperation of those who are willing to assist by giving parcels of clothing, furniture or household necessaries, all vt which are urgently needed. "Those able to assist are a.sked to tell the postman v/here to call for parcel., or ring 36-625, the Metropolitan Relief Association, and parcels will be called for.
