INTER-STATE JEALOUSY IN AUSTRALIA
CRITICISM BY CHIEF SCOUT VICTORIA (Brit. Col.), April 11. Addressing the Canadian Club, Lord Baden-Powell, referring to the Scout Jamboree in Australia in January, declared: "The states of j Australia are extremely jealous oi one another. Close by are small countries, fairly bursting their bounds, with their eyes on Australia. If the Australian people are divided among themselves they will not stand. "When the scouts came together in camp, however, they were given the idea that they were Australians, not Queenslanders or Victorians."
