DURHAM STREET METHODIST CIRCUIT
The quarterly meeting of the officials of the Durham Street Methodist Circuit was held recently, the Rev. Clarence Eaton presiding. The fcalance-sheet disclosed a very satisfactory increase in income, and substantial sums were transferred to both the Durham street and Cashmere trusts. , Membership returns showed increases at each church. The youth work was reported to have been well maintained throughout the circuit. It was reported that deputations connected with the home mission work would visit the circuit during the quarter. The opportunity was taken of bidding farewell to the Rev. Allon Carr, who leaves tins month for Hokitika. The meeting expressed the sympathy of the church with the relatives of Mrs Wilsdn in their bereavement.
