euchre tournament The euchre tournament conducted by the Takahanga Tennis Club, held at the Oddfellows' Hall, was won by Mrs J. A. Reid and Mr L. Shannon. Kaikoura Dairy Company At the monthly meeting of directors there were present: Messrs P. S. Humm (chairman), H. Ashby, W. H. Dalzell, A. Keenan, J. D. Boyd, A. a. Lester, and P. W. Adair. Mr C. P. Agar wrote thanking the directors for support given to him. A letter was requested to be sent congratulating him on his appointment to the Dairy Board. The manager (Mr J. A. Ross) reported that during March the cream received amounted to 198,9201b, butterfat 79,645 2, average test 40.03, overrun 1.2128, butter manufactured 96,768 lb. Petrol sold, 2177 gallons. The pay-out was fixed at BJd for finest quality. It was decided to make a charge of 3d a bottle for testing at the factory.
