CABLE CONCESSION RATES All parts of the British Empire will enjoy a special Silver Jubilee cable concession from May 4 till May 11, inclusive. During this period it will bo possible to send a cable message from New Zealand to the United Kingdom at a flat rate of 4s for 10 words and 5d for each word over 10 (the full cable rate to Great Britain is Is 8d a word, and the normal deferred rate lOd a word). The text must be in plain language, but groups of figures denoting numbers and quantities, and isolated letters or commercial marks used to describe articles under order may be included, the conditions of acceptance being generally the same as those which apply to daily letter telegrams.
