TELEPHONE CHARGES
TO TKB EDITOS 07 THS PEBSS. Sir,—ln these days of modern conveniences I think it is time. something was done in the matter of reducing the cost of the telephone, thereby placing it within the means of the working man. If this could be done, and the cost reduced to approximately half of the present charge, a greater number of people would avail themselves Of this coveted service, and the increased number of subscribers would be an economic benefit to the eorrimunity as a whole.—Yours, etc., CHEAPER TELEPHONES. April 13, 1935.
